Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi is expected to visit Gujarat for two days during the first week of October.
Unlike in neighbouring Rajasthan where he addressed huge public rallies, the scion of Gandhi family would refrain from addressing public meetings. Instead he would focus on a series of meetings with the State Congress leaders and workers at Ahmedabad and Rajkot.
“Rahul Gandhi will hold meetings at Ahmedabad on October 3. Office-bearers of various district units and party workers from north, south and central Gujarat will have meeting with Gandhi at the State headquarters. On October 4, he would visit Rajkot to meet party workers of the Saurashtra-Kutch region,” said a senior Congress leader.
