Rahul: Centre has no data on O2 shortage, no accountability

Former Congress president Rahul Gandhi on Saturday slammed the Centre and called the National Democratic Alliance (NDA)  “No Data Available” Government.

Rahul in a tweet message said the Centre wants citizens to believe that there is no data available regarding “oxygen shortage” during the second wave of Covid, death of farmers during protests, and death of “migrants who died walking” during the first nationwide lockdown.

He further said the Centre wants citizens to believe that “no one was mob lynched”, and “no journalist has been arrested”. Rahul, who is often attacking the Government by taking swipes at its policies, said the Government has “No data, no answers, and no accountability.”

Rahul Gandhi’s jibe comes after the Government informed Parliament on Friday that no data was available on the number of Anganwadi workers who had died due to Covide-19.

He pointed in his messages, similarly, the Centre, in November last year, said it had no data pertaining to either case against or the number of farmers who died during the year-long agitation demanding the repeal of the three contentious farm laws.

In September 2020, the Union Ministry of Labour and Employment told Parliament that it had no data on the number of migrant workers who lost their lives during the nationwide lockdown, which was imposed in a bid to curb the spread of Covid-19 in 2020, Rahul referred in his tweet pointers.
