A sensational case of fake birth and death certificates has come to light in the Health Department. The latest case is also related to Meerut. From the sub center of Daurala block here, but the birth certificates of the entire State including Aligarh are being made indiscriminately, that too within just 30 minutes.
It is also being promoted. Manoj Kumar, e-District Manager of NIC caught the matter and informed the CMO. The CMO immediately called the ACMO of Meerut and informed about the matter. Birth certificates of Aligarh and other information have also been sent.
According to the information, on the internet media, a firm named Amrit Infratech is being promoted to make birth and death certificates of any district in 30 minutes. It is possible that these certificates are being made by taking huge amount of money. Certificates of many districts including Aligarh also came out.
All the certificates were found to be issued from Baparsa sub center of Daurala block of Meerut. In place of the authority issuing the certificate, the seal of the sub center and the signature of the medical officer is there. Surprisingly, the name of the district is missing from the seal.
The ID of the portal of Sub Center Baparsa is being used to generate birth and death certificates of all the districts, which in itself is a big mess.
The Meerut Health Department itself is not even aware of making such certificates. If sources are to be believed, the wires of this racket, which are making fake certificates, can be connected till Lucknow. E-District Manager Manoj Kumar reached the CMO office and apprised Dr. BPS Kalyani about the whole matter.
Taking this very seriously, the CMO immediately spoke to the ACMO of Meerut and the nodal officer of the birth-death certificate work on the phone. He explained the whole matter to them. It is then learned that Baparsa Center comes under Daurala block. How many certificates have been issued with the seal and signature of this sub center, it will be revealed only after investigation.
Dr. BPS Kalyani, CMO said that the e-district manager brought this matter to the fore. I have also seen certificates made from sub centers, which have the stamp of Sub Health Center, Baparsa. Birth certificates of all districts cannot be made from one centre.
Quite a serious matter. Have informed the officials of Meerut, they are getting the matter checked. If needed, Lucknow will also be informed.
