Uttarakhand Governor Aziz Qureshi joined the nation in celebrating the 65th Republic Day with patriotic fervour, emphasising on peace, harmony and brotherhood as a prerequisite for growth.
Qureshi unfurled the tricolour and took the ceremonial salute by Indian Army and para-military forces including the ITBP, SSB and the Homeguard at a function held at the historic parade ground here. Chief Minister Vijay Bahuguna, who was also present at the occasion among other distinguished guests, arrived at the venueand met the freedom fighters.
