Kerala Home Minister Ramesh Chennithala on Friday said that Director General of Police MN Krishna Murthy would hold a preliminary investigation into the alleged role of Additional DGP (South) K Padmakumar in the release of some porn video clippings featuring con woman Saritha S Nair, solar scam perpetrator, through WhatsApp and other social networking sites.
“As a complaint had been received (from Saritha), there will be a preliminary inquiry into the allegation,” Chennithala told newsmen, adding that State DGP KS Balasubramaniam had given the required orders in this regard. Con woman Saritha, prime accused in 33 solar scam-related cases, had lodged her complaint against Padmakumar with DGP Balasubramaniam the other day.
