Aiming to finish the groundwork by the end of this month, renowned poll strategist Prashant Kishor would be camping in the State and will tour the east districts of UP.

Besides meeting with chiefs of Block Development Committees (BDC), Kishor also is scheduled to visit three Divisional Headquarters where his team has carried out a week-long review.

In the third week of May, Kishor's team will also visit Sultanpur for having a feel of ground realities. Only Raebareli and Amethi - represented by Congress chief Sonia Gandhi and vice-president Rahul Gandhi respectively, have been made out-of-bounds for Kishor as these are looked after by Priyanka Gandhi Vadra.

"Kishor led by UPCC chief Nirmal Khatri and AICC general secretary Madhusudan Mistri would meet all BDC chiefs of the party at Gandhi Sabhagar in here on May 10," said chairman of UPCC media committee, Satyadeo Tripathi.

Sources in the Congress said earlier itinerary of Kishor wherein he was to visit Varanasi Divisional headquarters on May 11, followed by Allahabad on May 12 and Gorakhpur on May 13 have been slightly changed. The Divisional office bearers and leaders have now been called to the State Capital where Kishor will interact with them on May 12-13.

After Kishor's tour, his team members would make an eight-day visit to Faizabad division to have a grasp of ground realities which led to poor show of the party in recent polls.

Reports confirmed that Kishor team members will be in Sultanpur on May 15 and 16, in Faizabad (native town of UPCC chief Nirmal Khatri) on May 17 and 18, Ambedkarnagar on May 19 and 20 and lastly in Barabanki on May 21 and 22.
