In a sudden development, the Kolkata Police has started fresh proceedings against Narada News CEO Mathew Sammuel, asking him to appear at the lalbazar Police Headquarters in a week's time. The police have sent a notice to Sammuel asking him to appear at lalbazar following a complaint of extortion filed at Muchipara Police Station by the family of a Bihar politician D Yadav, sources said.
