Police action absolutely correct: Azam

Published on:

Minister for Minority Welfare and senior Samajwadi Party leader Mohammad Azam Khan said the police action against the boy for posting objectionable posts on the social networking site Facebook was cent per cent right.

While talking to the reporters in Rampur on Sunday he said the action of police was right as the matter was directly related to him. The Opposition has got the opportunity to support the accused “because it is against him all the time,”

Khan, targeting the media said that the last communal riots that happened in Muzaffarnagar was the result of these kinds of posts on the social networking sites. Forgetting the incident the media backed the boy who  has moved the Supreme Court against his arrest. He also cleared that the boy who posted those objectionable comments is neither a student nor a minor. The SC sought an explanation from the State Government on arrest of this 19-year-old boy.
