PM to address 10 BJP rallies across Haryana

BJP’s star campaigner, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address ten election rallies in Haryana, one each in all the 10 lok Sabha constituencies of the State.

“Modi ji would address at least ten ‘Jan Sabhas’ across Haryana as star campaigner in these elections, which would start after the last date of filing of nominations by the candidates for assembly polls”, said Virender Singh Chauhan, state BJP spokesperson.

Chauhan added that BJP is contesting the Assembly elections in all 90 constituencies, under the leadership of our ‘super star campaigner’ Narendra Modi.

BJP, which won seven out of eight lok Sabha seats it had contested in the parliamentary polls in Haryana on the name of ‘Modi’, wants to repeat the same in assembly polls too.

The party leadership is expecting 60 plus seats in 90 member Haryana assembly and hopes to form the government this time.

Party wants to showcase Modi’s successful ‘Gujarat Model’ here to the people of the state vis a vis the Congress rule in Haryana under chief minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda.

The two-term anti-incumbency against Congress and Hooda is expected to help the BJP in its Mission 60 plus. Inner party rift among congress party on ‘leadership’ issue would prove another factor in favour of BJP, in assembly polls here, observers say. .

Moreover, party’s national president Amit Shah, who had launched Vijay Sankalp Yatra from Mahendergarh had already made it clear that in the lok sabha elections, people of this state had given clear mandate to BJP, by which its ally Haryana Janhit Congress had disagreed and formed another alliance with Venod Sharma’s Haryana Jan Chetna party in the state.

The BJP has decided to include national president Amit Shah, Sushma Swaraj, Rajnath Singh, Nitin Gadkari, Smriti Irani and other senior leaders in the star campaigners’ list. However, Arun jaitley would not address the jan sabhas due to health problems. The detailed list of ‘star campaigners’ is expected to be released on Monday, said Deepak Manchanda, another party spokesperson.

Anil Vij, senior leader of BJP and MlA from Ambala said that they would go to public with 100 days of performance of Modi government at centre.

“People of the state get due benefits whose Chief Minister belongs to the ruling party in the centre”, said Kailash Vijayvargiya, in charge of Haryana elections.
