Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s mother Hira Ba was admitted to the Gandhinagar Civil Hospital on Wednesday evening and discharged after a short time.
Sources close to Pankaj Modi’s family, the younger brother of PM Modi said that Hira Ba was admitted for a routine check-up and now she is doing fine. The nonagenarian mother of PM Modi was taken to the hospital in a 108 ambulance and was admitted to the intensive care unit (ICU) but after check she could go back to her home.
“It was just age related illness. We took her ECG, blood pressure and X-ray tests. She is healthy and fine and nothing to worry,” said Dr Paresh Vora of Gandhinagar Civil Hospital.
