On the occasion of the Independence Day, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday launched a website that will tell the stories of the bravest men and women, civilians as well as armed forces personnel. In a tribute to the gallantary awardees since Independence, the PM announced the launch of the website in a series of tweets.
“In remembrance of our heroes who have been awarded gallantry awards since Independence, launched the site,” Modi tweeted. “The portal http://gallantryawards.Gov.In/ will preserve & tell the stories of our bravest men & women, civilians as well as armed forces personnel,” he added.
The PM asked the public to share if they have any information/photo that is missing and can be added to the portal.
