Another horrific tale of an alleged sexual abuse is emerging from inside the classroom of a playschool located in posh Trikuta Nagar housing colony in Jammu.
This time children less than four years of age have become victim of their own activity teachers in the school.
So far the State police has filed a FIR against three teachers after receiving a written complaint from one of the parent.
The FIR has been registered U/S 354 of RPC.
The three ‘male’ teachers named in the complaint were engaged by the school for dancing, singing and karate activity in the school premises.
According to the complainant in the case, “the horror came to light about a fortnight ago when one of the child studying in lKG refused to attend the school. When her parents inquired from her about the reasons she complained that one of the teacher has been misbehaving with her and that is why she is scared of visiting her school”. When her parents brought this issue in to the notice of school authorities they immediately punished him by terminating his services.
According to the copy of the FIR, on July 31,2018 the same child was molested in the school,this time,by another teacher.
At the same time a similar complaint was raised by a parent of another child claiming her daughter has also complained of ‘physical’ harassment by one of the teachers in the school.
A group of angry parents then decided to call on the school authorities to intervene in the matter.
According to the FIR, “the parents were directed to submit a written complaint by the school Principal”.
