The officials at Raj Bhavan here on Thursday lodged a police complaint with the Cyber Crime Police Station at Bandra Kurla Complex in north-Central Mumbai against a news portal over the publication of “defamatory news” about Maharashtra Governor Bhagat Singh Koshyari allegedly facilitating the travel of a model from Maharashtra to Dehradun via New Delhi.
“The contents of the news are false, fabricated and based on nefarious design with an intent to malign the unblemished image of Governor,” Raj Bhavan said here in statement released here in the evening.
