A car driven by a physiotherapist from the AIIMS rammed into the bike of two constables who were patrolling in the area in North District’s Kotwali area. The incident took place around 10:30 pm behind the Red Fort on the Ring Road.
The constables who were injured have been identified as Ashwani and Madan belonged to the Central district. Soon after the incident, the injured were rushed to Kashmere Gate Trauma Centre where their condition is said to be stable.A case under appropriate sections of the IPC have been registered and further investigations are underway.
