Baba Ramdev put himself in troubled water following his statements on Patidar agitation in Gujarat as the yoga guru faced anger of Patels in Surat on Wednesday.
Ramdev had made a comment on the agitation of Patidars who are demanding reservation to their community in education and Government jobs under OBC category. The yoga guru tried to advise Patidars to rethink on the agitation in larger interest of the nation.
On this nearly 200 Patidar youths entered inside the yoga camp of Ramdev and started shouting slogans in favour of reservation for Patidars and demanded that Baba should apologise for his statement. Instantly Ramdev’s supporters tried to control Patidar youth and informed police.
After some time, police could disburse the mob and took situation under control. later on Baba told media that he had not spoken anything wrong which would hurt their (Patidars) sentiments and there was no question of apology.
