The Ramvilas Paswan-led lok Janshakti Party has hailed Prime Minister Narendra Modi's Independence Day speech. A meeting of the party's senior leaders chaired by Ramvilas Paswan on Thursday passed a vote of thanks to the Prime Minister for addressing various issues such as Demonetization, GST, Social Equality etc. on the occasion of Independence Day.
The resolution praised the PM for leading the country on the path of development and hailed his call for creating a New India. The party also backed the PM's assertion that solution to the Kashmir problem lies not in abuse and bullets but by embracing Kashmiris.
The party also threw its weight behind the PM's anti-corruption drive the fact that efficiency of the country has increased by 30% post GST regime. There has been an increase of over 34% in digital transactions as compared to the previous year. Savings of thousands of crore has been effected due to GST regime, the PM has said in his speech.
