Union Minister of Food and Consumer Affairs and lJP supremo Ram Vilas Paswan on Sunday said the land Acquisition Bill is in the interest of the nation. Paswan said the acquired land will be used for infrastructure development and setting up industries which will eventually create jobs. “The concept of Prime Minister Narendra Modi for land acquisition is very noble and in the interest of the people. All the political parties should sink their differences for progress of the nation and its people,” said Paswan.

Welcoming the Central Budget, the lJP chief said it has promised relief and assistance to Bihar. He said it was good that Chief Minister Nitish Kumar has welcomed the Budget proposals and hoped that the special assistance, as promised in the Budget, would be appropriately utilised for the development of the State.

“Nitish must have realised the difference between Modi and former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and between Finance Minister Arun Jaitley and his predecessor P Chidambaram. He had pinned greater hope with Singh and Chidambaram who only made hollow promises but the NDA Government only implemented its agenda of development, Paswan said and added that now the State has to implement all the schemes as there will be no fund crunch which was pleaded earlier.

Paswan also welcomed the formation of the PDP-BJP Government in Jammu & Kashmir and said this would herald a new beginning in the troubled valley and script new chapter of peace, harmony and prosperity.
