Goa Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar asked the Confederation of Industry in India to leave indecisiveness behind even as he asked the business lobbying group to keep ‘people’ especially the media out of their inner deliberations and only involve them after decisions have been arrived at.
Speaking at a function in Panaji organised by the Goa chapter of the Confederation of Indian Industries (CII) to launch of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s ‘Make in India’ campaign, Parrikar said that it would work only if project would not be stalled on account of indeciveness.
“Decision-making is one of the most important issues for ‘Make In India’ to succeed and the Central Government led by PM Modi is absolutely in no doubt that there is decision-making which has to be done… If ‘Make in India’ has to be a success, decision-making process has to be out of confusion.” Parrikar said.
The ‘Make in India’ campaign was formally announced by Modi at a Government function in New Delhi which was attended by the country’s top industrialists and executives of leading Indian as well multi-national corporations.
