Defence Minister Manohar Parrikar alleged that the UP Government was trying to hide the development being done by the Centre on economical grounds on the backdrop of incidents like lynching of a youth in Dadri. Parrikar on a very strict tone said that, “The Uttar Pradesh Government was responsible for the death of Aqlakh, who was beaten to death by mob over the rumour that he consumed beef.” talking to mediapersons in Bareilly on Tuesday, Parrikar targeted the State Government over the law and order situation in UP and said that the lynching incident was a result of it.
