The Border Security Force (BSF) personnel nabbed a Pakistani Hindu family inside the Indian boundary near Rapar town in bordering Kutch district on Tuesday morning.
Sources in BSF said that a Pakistani, his wife and their seven children were held when they were trying to cross Indo-Pakistan border. The man held by the BSF personnel has been identified as Heera lal. The Hindu Pakistani family belongs to Wada Jo Wadio village in Tharparkar of Sindh region of Pakistan, situated very close to international border.
Heera lal informed that he had to flee following some dispute with locals in his village. According to him had he not fled from the village, the locals would have killed him and his family.
“We are investigating into the matter. As it has been established that the family members of Heera lal are Pakistani nationals and were held while crossing the border, we have decided to arrest them. Further procedure against the illegal migrants will be done as per the law,” said an official in BSF posted at Kutch.
