'Pak frustrated over rapid growth under Modi Govt'

Condemning the fresh incidents of ceasefire violation on the line of Control (loC), Union Minister for law and Justice and Telecommunications Ravi Shankar Prasad said that Pakistan is showing signs of frustration since India is moving steadily ahead under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership, while the neighbouring country remains plagued with its own internal problems

“India is leading under Narendra Modi’s leadership and Pakistan is frustrated because of this. Internal problems have also frustrated Pakistan,” said Prasad. While the minister exuded confidence that the Indian defence forces were capable of handling such irritants and can give appropriate reply.

Violating the ceasefire for the 10th time this month, Pakistani troops on Sunday opened heavy fire on Indian posts along the loC in Poonch district of Jammu & Kashmir. Army troops guarding the borderline with Pakistan effectively responded to the firing.

Prasad dismissed former Pakistan President Pervez Musharraf’s recent statement blaming India for ceasefire violations saying: “Musharraf is not taken seriously in his own country, so you should not take him seriously also.”
