Pakistan Army on Friday violated ceasefire agreement along the line of control in Poonch.
In the last 24 hours, this is the second ceasefire violation in the region.
Defence PRO in Jammu, Lt Col Devender Anand said, "Pakistan Army initiated 'unprovoked' ceasefire violation by resorting to small arms firing in Qasba sector of Poonch around 4.00 p.m.
The Indian Army retaliated strongly and effectively", Defence Spokesman said in a written statement. The firing in the forward area was still going on 'intermittently' till the time of filing the report.
