Stranded in a long traffic jam on the Jammu-Srinagar National Highway, NIA Chief Sharad Kumar on Wednesday could not visit Narsoo Nallah area where a BSF convoy was attacked by Pakistani militants on August 5, 2015. Two BSF jawans were killed and 13 others were injured in the strike.
Meanwhile, the NIA chief who arrived here on Wednesday visited Joint Interrogation Centre (JIC) near Miran Sahib in Jammu and remained closeted inside with senior NIA officers and other members interrogating Mohd Naveed, the Pakistani militant captured from Chirdi village of Udhampur by local villagers.
