India on Friday achieved yet another milestone in its fight against the Covid-19 pandemic as more than 1 crore precaution doses or the third vaccine shot have been administered to the eligible population. Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya tweeted this information. On the caseload front, India reported more than 2.51 lakh (2,51,209) new coronavirus cases and 627 deaths in the last 24 hours on Friday. With 627 deaths and 3,47,443 recoveries, active cases declined to 21.05 lakh (21,05,611). The daily positivity rate is now at 15.88 per cent.
