Corona patients will now be able to go home isolate again. The district administration has restored the old order. This arrangement has been restored after suspected patients did not go for a Covid test for the fear of admitting to the hospital. Earlier, the district administration had banned Home Isolation in the last week of September.
Today a corona review meeting was held in the collectorate under the chairmanship of ADM City Rakesh Kumar, in which CMO said that due to the ban of home isolation, people are not going for the covid test on which ADM City, in the public interest, restored the order of Home Isolation.
However, he made it clear that Magistrates and all the respective Sub-Magistrates will keep an eye on their respective areas. Chief Medical Officer will deploy Lab Technician and concerned Medical Superintendent for following Covid-19 rules and regulations. Police will also check and make sure that no Covid patients will leave their homes before recovering from Home Isolation.
ADM City said that private hospitals are not following Covid's guidelines in the district and are doing negligence. ADM coordinated with the Magistrate / Sub-Magistrate and ordered to form a team to inspect the hospitals and ordered to seal those hospitals where the rules will not be followed.
The number of Covid patients is increasing in the district. Complaints are there that Nagar Nigam is not sanitizing the home and surroundings of the infected patients. ADM city said that this is serious negligence and gave instruction for the sanitization.
There is an awareness of corona infection so why people are avoiding masks? This question is in everyone's mind. CMO appealed to everyone to leave the house with a mask. CMO Dr. B.P Kalyani admitted that people now have awareness about Corona and are also following the guidelines as well. Earlier people used to hide corona symptoms but now people are coming forward themselves for corona tests. In the district, daily more than 2500 people are undergoing Covid test and a survey is also going on from door to door by the mobile team. Additional Chief Medical Officer and Nodal Officer of Covid, Dr. Anupam Bhaskar said that Covid's infection is not yet over. It is still necessary to take precautions, always wear a face mask before leaving the house. Contact the Health Department if symptoms appear.
