Onsite emergency plan was rehearsed (mock drill) at IFFCO Phulpur unit. In the meanwhile ammonia leakage- like situation was created from plant-5 A/B common section line in ammonia receiver V-1 area of Urea-1 into upstream flange of SD-6 control valve.
First the leakage started after that the fire brigade tried to control the ammonia leakage and the rescue team took the injured to the hospital. After this a review meeting of the onsite emergency plan was held with the local administration with IFFCO management and all head of departments.
The teams of Fire & Safety (IFFCO), local administration, Fire department Uttar Pradesh, Security department cooperated in the rehearsal.

HOLIDAY: Joint Registrar (J) Services, High Court Allahabad has informed that Thursday (June, 29) is declared as holiday on account of Id-ul-Zuha in place of Friday (June 30) in the High Court Allahabad, including its bench at Lucknow.
