Modi sarkar imandaron ki sarkar, Didi apki sarkar baimano ki sarkar (Modi’s government is an honest government while the state government is a corrupt one).
That is how BJP national president JP Nadda on Thursday started his second inning as the saffron party chief by attacking Mamata Banerjee.
Launching a scathing attack on Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee holding her responsible for all the anomalies in the State and promising jobs and everything that came with ‘good days’ Nadda said, “Prime Minister Narendra Modi sends money from Delhi and here those who are in power misappropriate them … this will not allowed to continue … you (TMC government) have to account for every penny you are granted because the money belongs to the people you rule.”
Speaking at a rally in Nadia district Nadda who was reappointed to his office on Wednesday said, only the BJP could stop the corruption and goonda raj perpetrated by the TMC. “Only BJP can stop this. There is only one way, whether it is panchayat polls or Lok Sabha polls: press the lotus symbol and we promise you that you will get your jobs and projects done and also you will see the corrupt people in jail,” the BJP president said apparently providing a strong reply to Banerjee’s attack on Prime Minister Narendra Modi from Alipurduar in North Bengal.
