The CBI has confirmed that Bunty, the man who was arrested by the investigating agency on Monday, had shot the lewd video, which was later uploaded by main accused of the MMS scandal builder Subrat Sahu, alias Kalia. Sources from the agency claimed that Bunty had shot the video, while Kalia was seen performing the sexual act with a receptionist at his real estate firm. A CBI team is currently in the city with Kalia, who is on a seven-day remand granted by a Delhi court.
Following the arrest of the duo, the CBI has started inquiring about the person and location where the editing of the video was done. Notably, Sahu was arrested on March 24 after the Supreme Court ordered the CBI to probe the videos of sexual acts, including rapes or gang rapes, of unidentified victims uploaded on social networking sites, including WhatsApp, by unknown people.
On Saturday, the CBI team had raided a house in Bhimtangi area in the city where the MMS clip was allegedly shot. Earlier, the investigating agency had conducted raids at four places, including Kalia’s rented house at VSS Nagar and his office and residence at GGP Colony here on Tuesday.
The cops had seized several pen drives and CDs from Kalia’s office and residence, which suggested that he had lured several other girls into sex as well, shot videos of the act and circulated them on various internet based platforms.
