Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Sunday said his regional party Biju Janata Dal (BJD) has not yet decided on joining the move to reunite the erstwhile Janata Parivar.
Talking to mediapersons after returning from his five-day visit to New Delhi, Patnaik said the BJD continues to remain firm on its policy of equidistance from the Congress and the BJP.
On the arrest of some of his party men by the CBI in connection with the chit fund scam, the Chief Minister reiterated his stand that it is their individual matter. “The Government or the party has nothing to do with it,” he said. Asked if he feels that the CBI has been unfairly targeting his party colleagues, Patnaik said, “A lot of people think so.”
