Oban, Asha back in national park after venturing out

Much to the relief of the wildlife officials, both the Cheetah—Oban and Asha who had ventured out from the Kuno Palpur Sanctuary in Sheopur district of Madhya Pradesh are now back in the national park. Oban and Asha, who were released in the wild at Kuno, had kept the State officials on their toes after straying out of the protected area. A senior official from the NTCA called their venturing out from the park to the villages on the periphery a routine affair as “they are exploring the area.” One male is in the fringe area, keeps on moving in and out, he said.
