The devotees can now offer puja at Kashi Vishwanath temple electronically as Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has asked officials to start the process of e-donation and e-puja in Kashi Vishwanath temple within a fortnight’s time. The directive was given during the presentation of Religious Endowment Department here last night.
“The officials should ensure e-puja and e-donation in Kashi Vishwanath temple within next 15 days. Similarly, application for Kailash Mansarovar Yatra and Sindhu Yatra should be accepted online. Besides, e-portals of religious places should be launched in a fortnight,” Yogi said during the presentation.
The CM also issued directives for construction of boundary walls across all religious places. He also said that these places should be linked with state highways through a proper road. Construction of boundary walls around religious places was a big issue during election. The BJP had claimed in its campaign that SP had spent more money for graveyards than on cremation grounds.
