A day after his party showed its keenness to join the BJP-led Government in Maharashtra, Shiv Sena president Uddhav Thackeray refrained from committing himself as to when his party would ink its power-sharing deal with its erstwhile saffron ally.
Talking to mediapersons at Kolhapur in western Maharashtra Uddhav said, “We are not in a hurry to join the Government. We will let you know as and when we formalise the deal adding, “Our only expectation from this Government is that the State should prosper under this regime. I do not want spell out our political arithmetic.... But, I would like to know from this Government whether it will fulfill the promise that the Sena and the BJP had jointly made to the people before the lok Sabha polls that the alliance Government, if voted to power, would abolish toll tax in the State”.
