Telangana Rashtra Samiti president K Chandrasekhar Rao predicted that Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy will be out of power by October 6 for his anti-Telangana bias.

“Even lakhs of Kiran Kumar Reddys, Chandrababus and Jaganmohan Reddys will not be able to stop Telangana State,” he said addressing the mammoth gathering of Telangana supporters who had spilled from Nizam College Grounds to the surrounding roads. Thousands of people had spread out towards Tank Bund on one side and Police Control Room on the other. They listened to the speeches on the lCD erected at different places.

Declaring that Telangana was very close, KCR said, “Elephant has come out, only tail is stuck,” he said. KCR made it clear that noting less than Telangana state comprising 10 districts and with Hyderabad as capital will be acceptable to the people of the region.

Explaining why he had accepted Hyderabad to be a joint capital of two States for a few years, KCR said, “Andhra employees will take the salary from Andhra but pay taxes to Telangana. We will earn `400 to `500 crore as sales and commercial tax from them every month,” he said.

“It was our generosity of heart that despite suffering so much at the hands of Andhra we have accepted the proposal to make Hyderabad a joint capital for some time. Andhra employees will be here only as guests,” he said.

Referring to the Chief Minister’s statement that only 90 tmc of water was allocated for the projects of Andhra region but they were utilising 330 tmc ft of water, KCR said that this shows that the only purpose of demanding united Andhra Pradesh was to continue to loot and exploit the resources of Telangana for the benefit of Andhra.

“This looting has resulted in complete destruction of Mahbubnagar distric and crippling of 1.5 lakh children due fluoride affected water in Nalgonda district”, KCR said. he ridiculed the demand that Andhra region should be paid compensation after the bifurcation. “Who should get the compensation, those who looted or those who suffered at the hands of the looters”, he asked.
