Aligarh Firework's noise and smoke pollution had made the environment sick on Diwali. Similarly, a maximum of 85.2 dB noise pollution has been recorded.

Before Diwali, with the rise in polluting levels in the cities including Delhi & NCR, people were hoping that this time the people will take control of the use of firecrackers in the district.

In view of the pollution, the National Green Tribunal has banned the sale and bursting of firecrackers till November 30 in Delhi NCR, but the people burst fireworks despite health dangers on Diwali. Even after 10 o'clock at night, the noise of firecrackers was echoing in the atmosphere.

As a result, the level of noise and air pollution crossed the standard limit. Uttar Pradesh Pollution Control Board said that on the day of Diwali, 270.93 PM 10 and 69.80 PM 2.5 were recorded in the residential area Gyan Sarovar. 85.2 dB noise pollution was recorded at the commercial area Center Point which was much higher than the standard. They told that firecrackers release gas which is harmful to health and the environment.
