Other than Modi, Kejriwal also launched attack on Reliance Industries limited (RIl). However, the company on Wednesday said that, Kejriwal’s allegation on Gujarat Government that it bought cheap land from farmers and gave it to RIl at concessional rates is completely baseless.
“Actually, the facts are completely the opposite,” said RIl adding that more than 90 per cent of land that RIl acquired for its plants in Gujarat has been bought directly from farmers and that too at more than the market rates. “We have not violated any rules in the process of acquiring land. Some politicians have been making unsubstantiated statements against Reliance to grab attention and instant mileage”
