Nitish suffering from NaMonia, says Rudy

Alleging that Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar is jealous and afraid of his Gujarat counterpart, BJP general secretary Rajiv Pratap Rudy said that Kumar parted ways with the BJP not because of any principle but for the simple reason that he is suffering from “NaMonia”.

Rudy told mediapersons in Patna on Thursday that Kumar should explain why he has developed so much hatred for Narendra Modi now when he did not find anything wrong in appreciating him at a railway function in 2003.

During his conversation with his former close associate Prem Kumar Mani,

Kumar described Modi as an emerging face within the BJP, a simple but dynamic member of a poor EBC family. latter, Mani also made a reference about the contents of the discussion in one of his write-ups.

As Kumar is suffering from NaMonia, he should consult a doctor for the treatment,” the BJP leader remarked.

He said that Kumar’s interest is confined only to occupying seats of power, recalling how he became a Minister again in the Vajpayee Government after he as Chief Minister failed to prove his majority in the Bihar Assembly after the 2000 State Assembly election.

Though after losing the confidence motion, Kumar had claimed that he would work in Bihar but he shifted his base to New Delhi later to enjoy power.

Rudy also asked Nitish Kumar to explain why he did not care to visit Godhra after the train burning incident if he was so concerned about his secular credentials.

He said that Kumar should have accepted his suggestion about utilising services of Modi for improving the NDA’s victory chances in the 2014 lok Sabha elections but instead he snapped ties with the BJP out of jealousy for Modi.
