Nitish, lalu go hammer and tongs at BJP, Modi

Both Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and RJD supremo lalu Prasad have assumed the charge to hit hard at the BJP and blunt its attack.  With Nitish going hammer and tongs at the BJP leaders saying they have nothing concrete about the one year achievements of the Narendra Modi Government, lalu said the coming Bihar Assembly elections will pave ‘ghar wapsi’ (retreat) of the BJP. Statements and counter statements have already made the political atmosphere hot. The BJP leaders too are hurling caustic remarks on the alliance and State of affairs in Bihar during the last two years apart from cry of the return of the jungle raj.

“See what type of language they are using,” reacted Nitish on Sushil Kumar Modi’s angry remarks over the CM’s criticism over yoga and physique of BJP president Amit Shah. Asked if he read what Modi said, he shot back, “No, I have no time to read his statements.” lalu also took unkindly to Modi’s comments and warned him to mind his language. “It will be better for him to mind his language. I can’t speak that kind of language,” said RJD boss who spared none while making uncharitable diatribes against one and all.

Reacting on lalu’s famous comment that he was ready to consume even venom in order to stop the BJP, Sushil Modi said only the NDA has the mantra to neutralise the snake’s venom and termed the friendship of lalu and Nitish as that of snake and cobra.  “Only the BJP alliance can neutralise the poisonous alliance of RJD and JD(U). In the lok Sabha polls, the Narendra Modi wave crushed the hoods of different varieties of snakes,” said former deputy CM. He alleged that due to the impact of the venoms of snakes the colour of governance has turned black. JD(U) spokesperson Sanjay Singh in a statement alleged that Modi was so frustrated over the alliance that he has lost mental balance and is giving ‘nonsense’ statements. “The language he is using is nasty and highly unparliamentary,” he alleged.
