Soon after Supreme Court granted bail to RJD boss lalu Prasad Yadav, his party leaders, workers and family got into celebratory mood and distributed sweets to each other. The elated Rabri Devi expressed confidence saying now RJD would go into poll with much force and vigour but she also declared that Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar was enemy No. 1 for the party.

“Nitish Kumar is enemy No. 1 for the party as he conspired along with others to send laluji to jail in connection with the fodder scam case. Since we’ve full faith in judiciary laluji has got bail and the party will now get renewed energy and force to go into poll,” reacted Rabri Devi while expressing her visible delight reeling on her face.

She also said that she was waiting for this day for over two months and like other party members she was also rearing to welcome lalu Prasadji when he would visit the residence. “I was hopeful that he would be released and that has proven right. In due course lalu Prasadji would also be acquitted in the case,” said beaming Rabri Devi.

Meanwhile, Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar refused to make any comment on lalu Prasad’s bail. He even avoided taking sweets distributed by RJD leaders at State legislature. But his party MP and senior leader Shivanand Tiwari welcomed lalu Prasad’s court relief.

lok Janshakti Party chief Ram Vilas Paswan too said that after lalu Prasad coming out of jail now their alliance would be much stronger in the days. Though, in recent past, their alliance had felt serious tremor when some lJP leaders had openly expressed that their party should contest all 40 seats on its own.

The RJD leaders were seen distributing sweets to the legislators at Bihar legislature after the news of lalu Prasad’s bail came in. RJD leader Veena Shahi too reached Rabri Devi’s residence at 10, Circular Road and offered sweets to celebrate the occasion.

At the RJD party headquarter and at others places like Khgaraia, Madhepura RJD workers and leaders burst crackers and distributed sweets to celebrate their leader’s bail approved by the apex court.

It is believed that the RJD supremo would come out from the Ranchi Jail on Monday as the court would remain closed on Saturday and Sunday. Rabri Devi told mediapersons that her two sons Tej Pratap and Tejaswi Yadav would go to Ranchi to accompany lalu Prasad on his return to Patna.

When asked how she was coping with her husband lalu Prasad’s absence, both on personal and political front, Rabri Devi said: “I was sad and feeling alone without laluji. But we’re trying hard to cope with his absence on both the fronts. Now, since this phase is over things would be better for the family and the party as well.”

“laluji is always in my heart. No one can take him away,” she said while cracking a peel of laughter among the jostling mediapersons. She also said that though, in view of the recent SC order lalu Prasadji would not be able to contest the 2014 lok Sabha polls but he would campaign for the party.
