Nitish decision is unprecedented, says Sharad

On the first ay of his three day tour of Bihar, JD(U) stalwart Sharad Yadav issued a statement saying there was no example in the country that two political parties with different ideologies and manifestos fighting each other and joining hands mid way.

The following is the statement of Yadav:

In our democracy vote has extreme value and it is an engine of our Constitution and with this the Governments at Centre and the States are formed. In the State of Bihar, Government was formed after having secured two third majority by Mahagathbandhan of JD(U), RJD and Congress parties. The people of Bihar around 11 crore voted for Mahagathbandhan  which has been broken thereby shattered the confidence of people in their vote.  This break has pained me a lot and therefore I am still standing with the people who voted for Mahagathbandhan . For formation of this Mahagathbandhan, we (Nitish  Kumar, lalu Prasad and myself) made enormous efforts and burnt the midnight oil.  During 2015 Assembly election we campaigned for one and a half month tirelessly and sought vote for alliance.
