The spiritual grandeur of Mahakumbh 2025 in Teerthraj Prayagraj continues to draw dignitaries from across the nation, with many considering it a divine blessing to bathe in the sacred waters of the Triveni Sangam. On Sunday, Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways, Nitin Gadkari, joined the revered tradition, expressing his deep sense of fulfillment after taking a ritual dip alongside his wife and family.

Upon his arrival at Prayagraj Airport, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath extended a warm welcome, presenting him with a shawl as a mark of respect. Gadkari then proceeded to the Sangam, where he performed the holy bath and offered prayers. His joy was evident, as he described the experience as spiritually uplifting. Impressed by the elaborate arrangements for Mahakumbh 2025, Gadkari praised the efforts of the Yogi government and local administration, acknowledging the scale and complexity of organizing such a massive event.

“The Uttar Pradesh government and local authorities have put in tremendous effort, ensuring flawless arrangements. This is why people from across the country are eager to witness this grand spiritual gathering,” said Gadkari.

He emphasized Mahakumbh’s significance as a festival that embodies the faith of the entire nation. Highlighting the event’s spiritual magnetism, he noted that thousands of devotees from his hometown, Nagpur, had traveled to Prayagraj in their vehicles to participate in the festivities.

“I pray for Maa Ganga’s blessings upon everyone. May there be universal prosperity and well-being,” he said, sipping the holy Ganga water and greeting the vast crowd gathered at the ghats.

Accompanying Gadkari on this sacred journey were Industrial Development Minister Nand Gopal Gupta Nandi and Transport Minister Dayashankar Singh.

To share his experience, Gadkari posted photos and videos of his prayers and holy dip on Instagram, Facebook, and X.

“Prayagraj... Har Har Gange! Today, I had the privilege of taking a sacred bath and offering prayers at the holy Sangam during Mahakumbh in Prayagraj.
