Despite Covid infection being on the ebb, at least nine people died of the viral disease, 105 fresh cases were reported and 326 patients recovered across Uttar Pradesh in the last 24 hours.
Additional Chief Secretary (Health) Amit Mohan Prasad said in Lucknow on Tuesday that 1.10 lakh samples were tested in a day and 105 new Covid cases were reported.
A maximum of 15 cases were reported from Gautam Budh Nagar (Noida), followed by 13 in Lucknow and 12 in Ghaziabad. He said that no new cases were reported in 45 districts in the last 24 hours, indicating that the viral infection was on the ebb.
“Of the nine people who died of Covid in the last 24 hours, 2 deaths each were reported from Hardoi and Ambedkar Nagar, while other deaths were reported from Basti, Gonda, Moradabad, Rae Bareli and Shrawasti,” he said.
