The Delhi Police has arrested a Nigerian national for allegedly stalking and harassing a woman, working as a senior management official in a Gurgaon-based MNC. The victim, an Estonian national had lodged a complaint in the Defence Colony police station of South Delhi on February 2.
The victim told the police that she met with the accused, Richard around three months ago in a Select City Mall where they had exchanged their number. After some weeks, the accused started starrted sending obscene messsages.
“The accused sent obscene messages, photographs to her on her cell phone. Richard used applications and Whatsapp and Viber to harass the victim,” a senior police officer said. The accused was arrested from Neb Sarai and investigation revealed that he had been staying without a valid document since one year.
