The Union Home Ministry on Tuesday informed the Parliament that in addition to the normal benefits available to a Central Armed Police Force (CAPF) personnel on death, it has been decided to provide Rs 15 lakh to the next of kin through Bharat Ke Veer funds in case of fatality due to the viral infection contracted while deployed on Covid-19 related duties.
