Body text: The second edition of News9 Global Summit is all set to debut in Germany’s Stuttgart on Oct 9-10 showcasing India-Germany time tested ties amid the global upheaval including the tariff war waged by US President Trump against almost all countries of the world. The theme of the summit is a “Democracy, Demography, Development: The India-Germany Connect” The News9 Global summit, hosted by TV9 Network, acts as a bridge between India and Germany and highlights the nurtured relationship between the two countries.
The summit focuses on how the two partners came together to usher in development and uphold the tenets of democracy. Like the previous 2024 summit, the current edition also aims to carry forward the legacy of the last year’s collaborations in multiple fields and further strengthen the ties between the two friendly nations. The last year’s summit theme focused on the roadmap for sustainable growth in India as well as Germany and prominently united the leaders from different fields like business, politics, sports and policymaking.
The keynote address for the 2024 News9 Global Summit was virtually delivered by Prime Minister Narendra Modi who shared his vision on “India: Inside the Global Bright Spot”. As the world continues to face mounting challenges in the form of economic uncertainty and shifting global dynamics in the face of Russia-Ukraine war and Hamas-Israel conflict, the coming together of India and Germany gives a flicker of hope.
