In an attempt to present a clean image and tame corruption, all the BJP Ministers have been asked to submit their property details to the CM’s office as well as to the party high command within 15 days.

The directive was given by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath in his introductory meeting with Ministers at lok Bhawan which was held immediately after swearing-in here on Sunday.

While briefing reporters about the meeting, Cabinet Minister Srikant Sharma said that as the Prime Minister Narendra Modi has stressed on corruption–free Government and transparency in Government working and this Government made a beginning by asking its Ministers to declare their property within a fortnight’s time.

“This being the introductory meeting CM shared his vision with Ministerial colleagues. It was decided that the party and the Government should work together. People have given BJP a massive mandate to serve them so the party should help in taking the message of Government policies down to the village level,” he said.

The party has also decided to set up a committee headed by eight-time MlA from Shahakahanpur Suresh Khanna which will give training to the newly elected members of Vidhan Sabha. The duration of the training and other members of the committee will be decided later, he said.

“Another committee will be formed that will find the modalities of having interaction with 325 NDA legislators with the Ministers. This committee will listen  to the problems of legislators and convey the ministers so that problems in particular constituencies could be resolved,” he said.

Another cabinet minister Sidharthnath Singh said that portfolios of ministers would be announced shortly.
