The famous Banke Bihari Temple in Vridavan may soon be centrally air-conditioned, officials of th shrine said on Sunday.
looking at the number of pilgrims especially on Saturdays and Sundays and during festivals, the committee is contemplating making the temple centrally air conditioned, vice president of the temple committee Rajat Goswami said.
An air conditioned hall will also be constructed adjacent to the bhog bhandar, where devotees can take rest.
"We have decided to construct an AC hall very close to the bhog bhandar. Pilgrims may take rest in this hall during post rajbhog darshan and pre-shayan bhog darshan," he said.
