The extended family’ of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose will be meeting Prime Minister on October 14 seeking declassification of ‘Bose files’ including “the 70 KGB documents” now with the Intelligence Bureau.
Chandra Kumar Bose, the grand nephew of Netaji, who was here on a visit, said they would demand an SIT probe “beyond the Mukherjee Commission’s findings.” Bose, who was in BJP headquarters and interacted with BJP national secretary Sidharth Nath Singh, said Prime Minister Narendra Modi was “eager” to facilitate the declassification of the secret documents.
He said 70 important files containing KGB notes on Bose which were with the Government should also be made public to unveil the mystery over Netaji’s post-war life. Earlier this year, family members of Bose family had met Modi and requested him to declassify the files on Netaji with the latter assuring them of all possible help in this regard.
