Published on:

The CNN-IBN and CSDS survey on Friday predicted 211-231 seats to the BJP-led NDA in forthcoming lok Sabha election. The survey showed the BJP registering its best ever performance and go up to 192 to 210 seats alone while it gave UPA just 107-127 seats.

The survey showed an increase of 14 per cent of vote share for NDA. As against 22 per cent, which NDA had got in 2009 , the alliance could get 36 per cent in the forthcoming polls. The UPA could see an erosion of 3.5 per cent votes and expected to get only 28 percent votes in 2014 lok Sabha elections.

According to the survey,  the Trinamool Congress will be able to fetch 20 to 29 seats. While Jayalalithaa's AIADMK would be expected to gain 15 to 23 seats in Tamil Nadu, her  archrival DMK's seats would shrink to seven-13 seats. The left parties are expected to get only 15-23 seats across India.

The Samajwadi Party is expected to be a big loser in Uttar Pradesh getting  between eight to 14 seats. The  BSP would also lose due to the surge of Narendra Modi-led BJP in the country's biggest State. The survey showed BSP seats would be limited to 10 to 16 seats. The survey said the BJP is expected to win 41 to 49 seats out of 80 seats from Uttar Pradesh.

The survey predicted six to 12 seats to the AAP. In Delhi, the AAP is expected to gain four to six seats. In Odisha, Naveen Patnaik's BJD is expected to gain 10 to 16 seats. In Andhra Praesh, Jagan Mohan's YSR Congress is expected to get 11-19 seats while TDP's tally would be in between nine and 15 seats. TRS is predicted to get 4-8 seats. In Bihar, JD(U) is expected to gain 7-13 seats while RJD is expected to gain 6 to 10 seats.  BJP would be the biggest gainer and expected to reach the tally of 22 seats in the State.
