NCP slams Fadnavis for ‘late’ response to Maha floods

Published on:

As the flood situation in western Maharashtra worsened on Thursday, the BJP-led saffron alliance Government came under a severe flak from the Opposition parties for the manner in which the Devendra Fadnavis dispensation was handling the flood situation in the State. Talking to mediapersons in Pune, NCP founder-chief Sharad Pawar charged that the State administration had fallen miserably short in dealing with the flood situation in the State.

“The Government machinery is not good there at all. I do not want to go into reasons behind the failure of the State Government in dealing with the flood situation in the State. The State Govt should concentrate on assessing the damage caused to crops and compensation to affected people,” he said.
