NBCC (India) Limited, a Navratna CPSE under the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs, Government of India, observed Vigilance Awareness Week 2026 from 26th October to 1st November . The week was observed in accordance with the guidelines of the Central Vigilance Commission (CVC), on the theme “Probity for Prosperity”.
The week began on 26th October with Integrity Pledge at NBCC Head Office. The pledge was administered in the presence of Dr Suman Kumar, Director (Commercial); Anjeev Kumar Jain, Director (Finance); Ritu Pande, Chief Vigilance Officer (CVO), NBCC; and other senior officials of the organisation. Employees at NBCC’s project offices across country also took Integrity Pledge.
The CVO, NBCC, unveiled infographics on NBCC’s Whistle Blower Policy and Public Interest Disclosure and Protection of Informers (PIDPI) Resolution. She also released a short video on ethical practices to be followed at project sites.
Awareness sessions on “Preventive Vigilance/Vigilance Matters” and “Public Procurement” were delivered by eminent guest speakers Parul Gupta, Director, CVC, and Mudit Anand (IRSSE: 2004 Batch), respectively.
To encourage wider participation, the Head Office organised competitions in extempore speech, slogan writing, drawing and painting, and reel making. NBCC project sites organised painting and quiz competitions for employees, their wards and students.
